hi all

I've just joined this forum and hopefully someone can give me some advice. I've just bought a 2010 long wheel

base transit from a dealer. I did mention to them that the engine was noisy when driving it cold not so bad when  warmed up but still there, the noise occurs when you put your foot down its quite rattly. Been told this is normal for this engine (2.4) something to do with the sensors for making it environmentally friendly. I had a 2004 transit before this and that was as sweet as a nut. Any one with any idea if this theory is correct.

 Cheers steve

We don't have that engine in the U.S.  I'm gathering that it's a diesel engine?
