I purchased my Transit Courier New a year ago to date it has let me down that is failed to start on 10 occasions. My local dealer along with Ford Tech insist that there is no fault, it is the way I use it.

I use it as a mobile workshop which means that sometimes I am on site several hours going to & thou getting tools etc. This means interior lights, rear & side lights and apparently various ECUs all power up every time. These ECUs apparently stay powered up for a considerable time.& this is what they say causes the problem.

Ford say there is no way to prevent this, it is the way it is programed.

Any ideas ?
