Just got a 148" Mid Roof AWD Crew Van and ended up paying $6K over the sticker price. It's in carbonized color instead of silver and came with upgraded headlights and adaptive cruise, rather than the 360° camera and park assist we originally wanted. Honestly, I'm happy with the change since these features are more practical for everyday driving

We're turning it into the perfect ride for daily use and weekend getaways with our three dogs. So far, we've added soundproofing, insulation, window covers, a Whynter ARC-65 fridge, and a Jackery Explorer 500 power station. We also swapped in a 32" passenger seat for extra space

We've got more upgrades on the way. Anyone else working on a crew van? I'd love any tips you have

That sounds awesome. For comfort and to keep noise down, go for good insulation like Thinsulate and throw in some soundproof mats. Durable vinyl floors will make cleaning a breeze. A solid electrical system with lithium batteries and solar power will keep everything running smoothly. Don't forget about fans or a heater for temperature control. Use shelves and under-seat storage to make the most of your space.

That build sounds awesome, but paying $6K over sticker still stings a bit especially without the 360° cam and park assist, my worry would be resale down the line if market prices normalize

Consider roof vents or fans for airflow, and maybe some modular storage or quick release dog crates if you haven't already, truly inspiring what you're doing
