Dipped headlamp failure

The offside dipped beam on my 2014 transit custom has failed. I've swopped the near side and offside bulbs so I know the bulb is OK. I have also checked the fuse (bottom left fuse in body control module 25A) which is intact. When I measure the voltage at the connector which pushes on to the back of the bulb I only get 2.04V. Doing the same on the nearside the voltage is over 12V. Anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions as to possible causes?

Sounds like a BCM issue, others have had similar low-voltage readings and it turned out to be a BCM fault. A scan tool like Forscan could help spot any fault codes before heading to a garage

It's ridiculous that a simple headlight failure on a Transit Custom can turn into an electrical mystery. With only 2V at the connector, it's likely a wiring or BCM issue...poor design if a basic light circuit depends on fragile electronics.

Thanks for the responses. I'm waiting for the correct adapter to run Forscan. Will update when I have received it and run the scan.

I have ran forescan and received the attached DTC.
Also had DTC concerning the left main beam relay shorting to battery (although it is working fine) and a further code regarding the ABS stating that invalid data was received from the BCM.
I guess this is confirmation that its a BCM issue?
