My sister asks to borrow my Transit every time they go on a road trip and I need additional 4 seats for them. Are Freedman seats worth it? I know they are compliant when it comes to seatbelts so I am quite biased towards it. Any other suggestions are acceptable!

Hey, Freedman seats are a safe, solid choice. It's designed to be pretty durable!
They also meet all the regulations, so the peace of mind that comes with it is worth a lot!
Beyond Freedman, have you looked into removable bench seats?
There are some options for quick install and removal you might want to check out.
That could give you some flexibility if you want to help your sister but also keep your usual van layout!

Freedman seats are the perfect option in my opinion because they are legally compliant with the seatbelt regulations as you mentioned. But props to you huh for thinking about your sister and her family's convenience. :)

Great choice going with Freedman. They're reliable, meet FMVSS standards, and can handle a lot of wear and tear. I'd reccommend sticking with them unless you're looking for something like Timber's foldable options for saving space, or a full row kit if you're after that factory-level comfort.

To be honest, when it comes to quick extra seating that's safe and won't come loose, you really can't go wrong with Freedman. I'd definitely go for it.

thanks for the recommendation. We'll take a look at Freedman!

Looks like a good choice, safe and sturdy. And if you need to switch things up later, the modular kind could work
