My baby (Ford transit 2019 van) was a part of an unfortunate event at the parking lot. apparently a drunk guy collided directly into my van and did some damage mostly to the back the insurance company said is total loss. i dont know the outcome because i'm still waiting for the insurance company with an offer but what do i do? what would you suggest? do i have any other options? i really liked that van

i would suggest for you to wait for the offer that the insurance company will give it to you, it probably won't be as high as you;ll expect it to be but you can negotiate and ask for revalue. if you are so in love with your van you can buy it back from the insurance company if they offer a lower price and repair it yourself but i would check with a mechanic for a second opinion if the repairs are possible and affordable.

Don't lose hope. I'm sure you'll get through this bump in the road. Take some time to research similar vans on the market so you'll know your options if you decide to replace your beloved Transit. Have you thought about whether you'd want a newer model or the same year if you go for a replacement?
