I've got a 2024 Ford Transit MR 148 Ecoboost AWD equipped with dark Palazzo Gray cloth 10-way power heated driver and passenger seats. Let me tell you, this van has been such a solid companion. It's versatile and handles everything I throw at it! That said, I've noticed the heated seats can get a little too warm, even on the lowest setting. It seems like this might just be how they're designed, but I'd love to find a way to make it more comfortable.

I've been considering using lightly padded cloth seat covers to manage the heat and protect the seats at the same time. Does anyone have good recommendations for covers that fit well with this seating setup? Also, if anyone knows how the heat levels are regulated like whether it's a thermostat or voltage adjustments, I'd be curious to hear about it. Loving every bit of this ride so far, but looking forward to smoothing out the heat situation 🥵

If the heat is excessive then it might be a problem with wires shorting between the seats components, you better check that. As for covers i suggest you look at the brand Wet Okole, they make great waterproof covers designed for a snug fit, which is probably what you need.

I thought I was the only one who thought that the seat is always too hot lol. Mine is too hot even on the lowest setting 😓
Sorry to hear about that, man. I checked the manual and this could be caused by either the thermostat or resistor. Best to have the dealer check it.

Thanks for this! I'm also looking at Covercraft or WeatherTech for the snug fit. Will most likely add covers to keep things comfy and protect the seats.
