A while ago I noticed that water starts to go into the engine bay and found that it's coming from the plastic above the hood, where the wipers are. The plastic sits good, as far as i can see and there's no damage to it. What could be the problem? At first I thought it was the pressure washer I use, but I found that it happens even during rain

Have you checked if the weatherstrip under that plastic trim is sealing right? Maybe try popping it off and cleaning out any leaves or dirt that you might have missed or something the first check.

What part of the cowl or drainage system do you think might be clogged or misaligned if the plastic looks fine, could debris or a missing seal be letting water in?

how easy is it to take it out? Most importantly, how easy is it to break it?

Not sure, where is the drainage hole?
