XL vs XLT for a new Transit passenger van worth the upgrade?

I'm looking to buy a new Transit passenger van and can't decide between the XL and the XLT trim. For anyone who's had expereince with both, is the XLT worth the extra cash? I'm mainly using it for family trips and some light hauling, so I'm interested in how they compare in comfort, features, and resale value. I'd love to hear your thoughts or experiences

A friend of mine made that upgrade exactly, and he says that's it was a game changer. The XLT is way better for a family trip just because you get upgraded sitting materials, more usb ports, better sound insulation, better interior trim and cruise control. So, if your budget allows, don't think twice, make the upgrade

From what I've seen and read, the XLT generally offers a noticeable bump in comfort and features over the XL, which can make a difference on longer family trips!
@Princecharming mentioned most of the upgrade, but for light hauling, I think both will get the job done.
Just that the XLT might be more convenient with its power-sliding doors.
As for resale value, that can be tricky but typically higher trims tend to hold their value slight better due to increased demand for more features.

XLT is probably worth it, offers extra comfort features like better seat materials, more USB ports, and improved trim makes longer drives more pleasant, visibility and aesthetics is not a huge difference mechanically, but the cabin feels a bit more polished
